George Anastasopoulos

Doctor of Sociology

I was born and raised in Athens. I have studied History and Anthropology, and I am a Doctor of the Sociology Department of the Panteion University, where I thought for two years, with emphasis on the cognitive sector of nationalism and social movements. At the course, I worked in the area of communication, while now I concern myself with intercultural education, participant leadership and non-directional intervention, a method of psychotherapy, pedagogies and group animation. I have been publisher and editor of the periodical “Magma” for individual and social autonomy. Lately, I activate myself, as a mentor in a hostel for non accompanied underaged refugee youth and I cooperate with the humanlinks group, with whose members I identify, as regards experience and psyche ordeals in strength and hope.
